Connecting news stories to an online audience during this digital era is exasperating but not impossible. This is especially when the internet holds an increasingly wide range of fussy and time poor audience. However,  writing news that contains the who, what, when, where, why, how and 'what's in it for me' is the crucial step to drawing the line to the audience. Having time-poor audience means the journalist have to draw the facts fast and accurate. This having said, adding pictures and videos with shorter body text will enable audience to get to the point faster. Another way is to direct the newstories to social media platforms so that the online audience have access to news even when they are scrolling Facebook as with roughly 500 million users worldwide, Facebook's audience is vastly larger than any single news organisation . A source without credibility is like a gun without bullets. An unloaded gun is enough to petrify people but it doesn't have the ability to kill; A source without credibility are able to distribute information but it will not be reliable and trusted by active audiences. Credibility of a source is made up of verification and independence of the author, currency and relevancy, and the aim of the author for producing the piece of information.  Verification is a process of collecting evidence that confirms the accuracy of something. In this process, the author should be identified in order to be held accountable of its product. If the product is of scholarly information, it shall then has evidence to what it says, peer-reviewed, contains bibliography and published by an established publisher. Whilst journalism or better known as news writing is not an easy process, the presence of internet which enables news to be available online exacerbated everything. With the availability of multimedia (such as video clips, audio recordings and footage), news writers tend to be distracted into getting something extra to compliment the news story, losing focus in writing news story the best possible way. Technology shall not get in the way of producing the best journalistic piece. 'NEWS' is not a new word to the society- by least; it should not be a new word to you. Where do we get news from? NEWSPAPER. But... wait, its year 2017 and we have something called internet. The internet (or cyberspace) is free for anyone to use which made us all an author and this allows massive dissemination of information. With or without verification, accountability and independence, everyone can write about anything and everything, whether it is a praise or pure condemnation.  Back then when we only rely on printed medium (eg: newspaper) to retrieve news, no reader will ever doubt the reliability of the news story that they have just read, or at least the word 'fake news' never crosses their minds. Morning @ Plawangan Sembalun  It has been a few good year since my last camping and now I am standing at the gate to the great Mt. Rinjani, an active baby volcano in Lombok, Indonesia. Everyone has been saying that the main factor of skin problem is that our skin is dehydrated or not well moisturised. That is very much true, I believe. So the other day when I went to Pavillion for shopping, (while I was hunting for a good moisturiser), I dropped by Shu Uemura to sharpen my eyebrow pencil. I discovered that Shu Uemura had a new moisturiser called the maxi: hydrability . There's 2 types of moisturiser from the maxi: hydrability range: 1) Maxi: Hydrability moisture essence-in gel . 2) Maxi: Hydrability moisture essence-in cream . So, I got a few samples for the moisture essence-in gel which lasted me for about 5 days for 2 application each day. I was so excited to try it on and so have I and here's my verdict: COOL for the texture. The texture of the moisturiser is somewhat like a blurring primer with silicon-y feeling. OLA AMIGOS! It's been quite some time that I last updated my blog as I'm getting more and more busy with my studies lately :( So, today I just had my first public speaking class (I registered late for this class >.<) Firstly, I'm a half banana. Banana means Chinese people that doesn't know how to speak/write in Mandarin. I did not attend Chinese school so that is why but I do learn Mandarin by myself. I know how to speak fluently and write( not very well, though). So, being a banana also meant that I'm good in another language which is English & Malay. I would proudly say my English is a LITTLE BIT better being compared to the other (such as my badass friend -.-).
